Reference Letters
Reference Letter 1:
When I decided to buy oil paintings from China in 2001, I was very apprehensive. I saw many companies on the internet, but could not distinguish them. I decided to place a small order ($500) with one company. They required payment in full in advance via bank transfer. I figured it was risky, but if I was swindled, I would only be out $500. After 2 months, I received the paintings. They were OK, but not the "museum quality" paintings that I was promised. I searched for a better supplier, and found Europic Art & Frame. I placed an order for Van Gogh's with Jack Lee and felt more confident that the quality we would receive would be up to expectations. When I received the paintings, I was impressed. The cost was higher for High Quality (HQ) paintings than the other supplier, but the quality was much better....and I was interested in high quality art. I then tried a third supplier in China, who advertised lower prices, but he barely spoke English. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the paintings I received. I then realized that Europic's Medium Quality (MQ) artwork was comparable in quality and price to other supplier's HQ paintings. I went back to Europic as I felt very confident in their abilities. I asked Jack how we could improve the quality more, and he began working with me on a very detailed basis. I sent him several books and posters (about 100 or so at present) that his artists could use to get the fine detail I desired. As a result, the quality of the work produced increased to the point where I was certain I had the best artwork in the marketplace, artwork that I was proud to sell. In 2004, I traveled to Xiamen and spent 2 weeks with Jack. He was a great host and showed me many of the attractions of the resort city of Xiamen. We also discussed my artwork in detail and how we could further improve the quality, to create truly unique paintings that were without comparison. We call these pieces Very High Quality (VHQ) and the price reflects that...but it is worth every penny. My customers demand quality and Europic has always been there to support me in every way necessary. I not only consider Jack Lee one of my best friends, he is one of the most honest people I have ever known. David
